Planning a trip to Walt Disney World is an exciting adventure, but it can also be overwhelming. With so much to consider, from accommodations to dining, it's easy to overlook the little things that can make your next Disney vacation even more magical. Need to get a gift for a Disney traveler? Thankfully, Amazon offers a plethora of products that can enhance your Disney World visit. Here are some must-haves to consider packing for your trip to Disney parks!
1. Apple Air Tags
You can attach AirTags to bags, strollers, or other belongings to help locate them if misplaced. If your group splits up, you can share AirTag locations to help reunite easily. With the crowds and numerous stroller parking areas, an AirTag can help you find your stroller quickly. When we travel, I always stick an Air Tag in every suitcase.

2. Portable Phone Charger
Capturing memories is a must, and you’ll need your phone charged for photos and navigating the park. All dining reservations, wait times, and lightning lanes are done in the My Disney Experience App on your phone which drains a lot of battery. Portable chargers ensure you won’t run out of battery halfway through the day.

3. Water Bottles
Staying hydrated is essential, especially in the Florida heat. A reusable water bottle is essential in your park bag to save money and help the environment since Disney parks have water fountains where you can refill. Also, quick service locations have water you can fill your bottles at in the soda fountains. Be mindful of how heavy your water bottle itself is. Deciding on a stainless steel (keep water cold) or a lightweight water bottle is a personal preference. On a normal day, we like stainless water bottles, however, on park days I opt for a light weight water bottle.

4. Ponchos or Lightweight Rain Jackets
Florida weather can be unpredictable, with sudden rain showers often popping up. Packing lightweight rain ponchos or rain jackets can keep you dry without taking up too much space in your bag.

5. Fanny Packs or Backpacks
Keeping your essentials handy is key. Fanny packs or backpacks are perfect for holding items like sunscreen, snacks, and personal items without weighing you down. I opt for both, I keep my wallet items in a fanny pack, inside of my backpack allowing for easy access. My backpack also serves as my personal item on the plane, in fact, my kids also take a backpack on the plane to carry their snacks, headphones, iPads, etc.

6. Sunscreen and Lip Balm
Protecting your skin from the sun is a must. Choose a water-resistant sunscreen with a high SPF, and don’t forget a good lip balm to keep your lips hydrated.

7. Autograph Book and Pens
Meeting your favorite characters is one of the highlights of any Disney trip! Having an autograph book and good pens ready can make those meet-and-greets extra special.
Recommended Product:
Our kids got autographs at all the character breakfasts, it was a great memento from each dining experience.
8. Travel First Aid Kit
A small first aid kit can be a lifesaver for minor scrapes, headaches, or any other unexpected issues that might arise during your day.
Recommended Product:
With all the walking involved at Disney World, bandaids are going to be needed.
9. Snacks for Disney World
While Disney offers plenty of delicious food options, bringing your own snacks can save you time and money. Since I often like to stay in hotels that offer a kitchenette, I like to bring fruit with us for a snack in the parks. I opt to bring bento boxes for each person to pack an array of snacks to have in the park.
Recommended Product:
Perfect for on-the-go snacking. I have been using the same set of these boxes for four years for my kids' school lunches and they have held up great!
10. Cooling Towels
Florida can be hot and humid, especially during summer. A cooling towel can provide instant relief on a sweltering day.
Recommended Product:
Lightweight and effective, this towel can help keep you cool while you explore. During our last trip to Disney, I wasn’t sure we would need cooling towels, but they were extremely helpful during the heat, even in April.
11. Great headphones
No trip is complete without the right pair of headphones, like Beats or AirPods, for the ultimate travel experience. Whether you're blocking out noise on a plane, catching up on podcasts, or vibing to your travel playlist, quality sound can make all the difference.
With long-lasting battery life and seamless connectivity, Beats and AirPods are the perfect companions for any journey. They’re compact, durable, and ready for any adventure—ensuring you stay connected and entertained from takeoff to touchdown. Don't just travel; make every moment sound amazing!

Other useful items to consider bringing include a portable fan, reusable straws (since Disney only offers paper straws), Disney ears, and hand sanitizer.
While these items may add to your trip’s expenses, having a checklist of what you already own and what you need to purchase can be beneficial. Keep in mind that buying these items at Disney World or your hotel will typically cost more.
